About The Couple Quiz
A couple quiz is only worth playing if it is scored, because the interesting number is not how many you got right — it is how many you were confident about and still got wrong. Each card asks you to write down what you think your partner will say. They write their real answer. You compare. Sixty rounds later you have an honest picture of where your mental model of them is accurate and where it is about five years out of date.

- Halfway through, swap who is being asked about.
- Score out of 60 at the end, then go back to the three you were most confident and most wrong about.

Almost every couple overestimates how well they know each other, and the overestimate grows with time together, not down. The reason is simple: you stop updating. You learned who your partner was at the start and then quietly assumed nothing moved. A scored quiz catches that, and the cards you get wrong are worth more than the ones you get right.
