Our story

Built by People Who Care About Relationships

Blindspots was created by a team of relationship researchers, game designers, and couples therapists who shared one frustration: most couples apps are shallow. Trivia, love languages, personality tests — fun, but they rarely lead to real conversations.

We wanted to build something different. A game that doesn't just ask what you know about your partner, but surfaces the gaps — the assumptions you didn't know you were making. Those gaps, we believe, are where real intimacy is built.

🧠

Psychology-First

Every question set is developed in collaboration with European relationship psychologists and grounded in peer-reviewed research on couples communication.

🎮

Game Design Matters

We believe the format shapes the conversation. Blindspots is designed so that revealing a mismatch feels like discovery, not conflict.

🔬

Research-Backed

Our methodology draws on structured mutual disclosure research, including work pioneered by Dr. Arthur Aron at the State University of New York.

Our Approach to Psychology

Blindspots is developed in collaboration with European relationship psychologists whose work aligns with frameworks recognized by the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA). Every deck is reviewed by licensed relationship therapists before release to ensure questions are constructive, evidence-based, and appropriate for all relationship stages.

We are a small, independent team. We don't have investors pushing us toward engagement metrics or ad revenue. Our only goal is to make something couples actually find useful. If you have feedback, we read every message at support@blindspotsgame.com.
