Privacy Policy

Lyngby s. r. o. (“we”, “us”) operates the Blindspots mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Slovak law.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Account Data

When you register, we collect your email address and display name (first and last name). You can register using your email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. Passwords are stored as securely hashed values — we never store them in plain text.

When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real one. We treat this the same as any other email address and use it only to operate your account.

1.2 Newsletter & Updates

Occasionally during gameplay, we may invite you to subscribe to our newsletter for tips, new content, and app updates. Subscribing is entirely optional. If you subscribe, we collect your email address for this purpose only. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.

1.3 Gameplay Data

Pair code, partner connection, game sessions (answers, categories, blindspot results), and statistics.

1.4 Payment & Subscription Data

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details — billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Subscription entitlements are managed by RevenueCat using anonymous identifiers linked to your account.

1.5 Technical Data

Device type, OS version, app version, IP address, general geographic region, and crash reports / diagnostic data (stack traces, error messages, and device state at the time of a crash).

1.6 Data We Do Not Collect

Precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID). We do not track you across apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and operate the App; authenticate your account; manage subscription entitlements; improve performance and reliability; send service-related communications; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or targeting. We do not sell your data to any third party.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Contract performance — account and gameplay data needed to provide the service. Legitimate interest — technical data for security and performance. Consent — where explicitly required. Legal obligation — where applicable (e.g. tax records).

4. Third-Party Services

Cloudflare — backend infrastructure and data hosting.
RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management (anonymous identifiers only).
Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing and app distribution.
Sentry — crash reporting and error diagnostics. Sentry collects crash reports, stack traces, and device state at the time of an error to help us identify and fix bugs. Data is processed in accordance with Sentry’s Privacy Policy. By using the App you consent to this processing.

We do not use advertising networks or data brokers. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Subscription transaction records are retained up to 5 years for tax compliance. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

6. Security

All data in transit is protected with TLS/HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to production data is restricted. Infrastructure runs on Cloudflare with enterprise-grade security controls.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and data (via Profile → Delete Account or by email); export your data; restrict or object to processing; and withdraw consent. Contact us at support@blindspotsgame.com — we respond within 30 days. EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR.

8. International Transfers

Data may be processed outside the EEA by our service providers. Where this occurs, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

9. App Store Privacy Nutrition Labels

In accordance with Apple App Store requirements, here is a summary of our data practices:

Data linked to you: email address, display name, gameplay data, subscription status, newsletter subscription (if opted in).

Data not linked to you: device type, OS version, app version, IP address, general region, server logs.

Data used to track you: none. We do not track users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.

10. Children

Blindspots is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@blindspotsgame.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be communicated through the App before taking effect.
