About Hot Seat: Adult Edition
The adult version of hot seat: one of you takes all fifteen questions in a row, with no swapping in between, and then the other takes the same treatment. Answers get noticeably more honest around question eight, which is the entire reason for the format.

How to play Hot Seat: Adult Edition
- One person takes the chair for all fifteen cards.
- The reader may ask one follow-up, and it should be the obvious one.
- One pass each for the whole run.
- Swap chairs and take the same fifteen. Going second is harder.
Why couples love this game
Alternating turns lets both people hide a little — you can give a short answer knowing your turn is over. Taking every question consecutively removes that, and the second half of the run is where the real answers arrive.
Tips to make it more fun
- Go second if you are nervous. Hearing the other answer first makes it easier.
- The follow-up matters more than the question.
