- "Yes" on its own does not count. Every answer needs one sentence of reasoning.
- Nobody is allowed to be insulted by an honest answer to a ridiculous question.
- Stop when the cards stop being funny, or keep going — but decide together.
Why couples love this game
The absurd framing is doing real work. Asking "would you still love me if I lost my job" cold sounds like an accusation; asking it after ten rounds of increasingly stupid hypotheticals sounds like a game. The answer you get is the same, and it arrives without either of you having to admit you wanted to know.
