About The Couples Challenge
The couples challenge is fifteen days rather than one evening. One challenge a day, both of you doing the same one, no skipping and no doubling up. Some take two minutes and one of them takes a whole evening.

How to play The Couples Challenge
- One challenge per day, in order, for fifteen days.
- Both of you do the same challenge on the same day.
- No skipping and no catching up two at once.
- Talk about it at the end of the fortnight.
Why couples love this game
Doing something small every day for a fortnight changes a routine in a way that one big gesture does not. It also creates fifteen shared reference points, which is more than most couples generate in a normal month.
Tips to make it more fun
- In order, one a day. The sequence builds.
- Set a daily reminder — most people forget by day four.
- Tell each other afterwards rather than announcing beforehand.
- Day fifteen is meant to take a whole evening. Plan for it.
Frequently asked questions
How does the couples challenge work?
Fifteen challenges over fifteen days, one a day, both of you doing the same one. No skipping and no doubling up — the daily rhythm is what makes it work.
What if we miss a day?
Pick up where you left off rather than doing two. Doing five challenges in an evening is a different and much less effective exercise.
